I'm Erykah — a lash artist and educator behind The Erykah Label.
Like many artists, I started by navigating inconsistent results, retention issues, and techniques that didn't always translate into clean, lasting sets. I followed trends, tried everything I saw online, and kept wondering why my work still felt unpredictable.
Over time, that experience became the foundation of everything I now teach.
It was understanding what actually mattered.
I stopped chasing techniques and started studying structure. I stopped following trends and started following the lash — the actual shape, health, and direction of what I was working with.
When I began focusing on placement, control, and the fundamentals that actually drive retention, my sets became cleaner. My clients started staying. And my work finally felt consistent in a way it never had before.
That shift is what the Less Is More philosophy is built on.
My approach blends technical precision with an intuitive, eye-based understanding of design — allowing artists to move away from guesswork and into confident, controlled application.
After seeing how often artists struggle with the same challenges I did, my work shifted toward simplifying technique and focusing on what actually creates clean, predictable sets. Not more information — the right information.
Through the Less Is More philosophy, I teach artists how to refine their technique, improve retention, and create sets that feel both elevated and effortless.
This isn't about doing more.Whether you're a beginner who wants cleaner fundamentals or an artist ready for deeper hands-on support — there is a path here for where you are right now.
